Additional Services

smiling couple at Keith A. Boenning, DDSYou don't have to live with damage, discoloration or gaps when it comes to your teeth. There is a procedure that is right for you and your unique situation. From bridges, to dentures, to tooth removal, we can help or point you in the right direction.

Dentures are a replacement option for missing teeth. A complete denture is a removable prosthesis of white plastic teeth in a pink gum-colored plastic base; the denture rests on the remaining gum ridge once all of the teeth in the arch have been removed.

Dental Bridge

Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth in both a cosmetic and functional fashion. A bridge structure is one or more artificial teeth anchored in place by natural teeth, crowns or implants, on each side of the bridge. Using a bridge to fill the gap from missing teeth helps restore proper bite. It also prevents teeth from shifting to fill the gap (which may lead to additional bite and jaw joint issues). Bridges can be constructed from gold, porcelain and metal, or ceramic. Ceramic bridge color is made to match your natural tooth color. Material choice will depend on structural requirements, wear and aesthetics.

Gum Disease

Gum disease is an infection of the tissues that surround and support your teeth. Because gum disease is usually painless, you may not know you have it.

TMJ & Bruxism Problems

TMJ disorder is a term that describes some different issues that affect the health and comfort of your temporomandibular joints. These issues irritate the joints, which then leads to inflammation. They can lead to severe pain and interfere with the most basic movements of your mouth. There are several different issues that can lead to TMJ disorder, including bruxism.

Tooth Extraction

A tooth extraction is the procedure done to remove a tooth that is damaged beyond repair from its socket in the jawbone.

Snore Guards

Snoring is more than just irritating to a partner who has to listen to it all night. It is more than just embarrassing. The truth is that snoring can be a sign of a serious underlying issue called sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a condition that affects your quality of sleep. You are subject to excessive daytime sleepiness, trouble concentrating, and difficulty thinking clearly. With sleep apnea, you are also subject to serious health complications. At Keith A. Boenning, DDS, we can help to stop your snoring with a snore guard.

Aesthetic Gum Lift

An aesthetic gum lift is also sometimes referred to as a crown lengthening. The procedure is designed to remove excess gum tissue that is affecting the quality of your smile. It restores your teeth to a more normal size, as well as restores a more natural, even gum line.
